QUOTES:
How much does racing in the ARCA RE/MAX event help your
NASCAR Busch Series effort in the No. 77 Dollar General stores
Chevrolet?
“The biggest challenge, like I’ve said before, is never seeing some
of these tracks, and having a limited testing schedule. It makes it
difficult to learn the marks and characteristics of the track. Being able to run in an ARCA race helps me figure the track out and gives me seat time. I can also figure out the line to run, the places to pass and what not to do in my Dollar General stores Chevrolet.”
“Every time I’ve left a Busch Series race I always say I wish I could start over now and I know I could finish a lot better. The ARCA race seat time helps our Busch practice. It speeds the learning curve along from learning the track to adjusting my car. The results have shown we finish a lot better at tracks I’ve raced the previous night.”
“I’m looking forward to racing at Michigan. Lance Deiters at Kevin Harvick Inc. gave me the advice that the track will take everything you give it.”
