AJ FOYT IV AND THE GREAT CLIPS TEAM CARRYING MOMENTUM IN TO VEGAS

Foyt is heading into this weekend’s event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway carrying a load of momentum after posting a NASCAR Busch Series career-best finish of 21st in Mexico City.

Foyt will run his first-ever race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in this weekend’s Sam’s Town 300. The Great Clips team did not participate in pre-season testing.

FOYT IV ON RACING AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY:
“I have never competed at the Las Vegas track but from what I have heard from some of the other drivers it should be a lot of fun. It’s flat, fast and has a lot of grip and that’s the kind of track that fans usually see some very exciting racing. While we didn’t have the results we were looking for at California a couple of weeks ago we learned a lot that should be pretty big help here. The Great Clips team has not had a whole lot of luck going for us so far this season but there is no better place to get it back than Las Vegas, a city built around the concept of luck.”

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION: The No. 38 Great Clips team will compete with chassis #45 this weekend in Las Vegas. Chassis #45 is an old favorite of the Great Clips team dating back to 2004 and has four top-five finishes to its credit.

SPECIAL APPERANCES: Foyt will be a guest on Performance Racing Network’s Fast Talk with Benny Parsons IN Las Vegas. The show will be broadcast live on Friday, March 10, 2006 from the Orleans Casino from 8-9pm.
