Quotes: Scott Wimmer on Homestead-Miami Speedway:
“I love Homestead. I’ve won there before in a Busch car and had some really good runs there in a Cup car. It just seems to fit my driving style really well. It’s definitely one of my favorite tracks. This weekend’s Duraflame/Yard-Man Ford is a car we’ve had a lot of success with so far this season and I’m looking forward to getting another strong run out of it.”

Scott Wimmer on the 2006 season with Brewco Motorsports:
“We’ve had an okay year. We definitely thought we were going to have a few wins and a lot more top-10s. We’ve had some pretty bad luck – cautions falling at the wrong times and begin at the wrong place at the wrong time on the track. This team never quit, though. Newt Moore and these Brewco Motorsports guys always put great equipment under me. They’re definitely one of the best teams I’ve ever worked with. I’d say everything has been solid this year. It’s a good thing when you’re disappointed with four top-10s and seven top-15s. These guys expect to win every weekend. I’ve got one more chance to give them a trip to victory lane and I’m going to do everything I can to go out on top with these guys.”
