WALLACE & TOP-FLITE TEAM HEAD TO HOMESTEAD HOPING TO GET A JUMP ON 2007
Steve Wallace and the No. 64 Top-Flite Dodge team will make their way to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the NASCAR Busch Series’ season finale Ford 300. Although the team is excited and anticipating a good run, they’re eager to get a jump on 2007.

“We’ve had a pretty decent season,” said Wallace. “We definitely struggled some here and there, but for the most part I feel like I’ve learned a lot and am looking forward to next year.”

With Wallace scheduled to compete full-time in the Busch Series in 2007, for the 19-year-old rookie and his team, 2006 has been a season of learning and gained experiences. In 16 starts, Wallace has eight top-25 finishes, including his season-best finish of 11th-place. Heading into Homestead, Wallace and his crew are looking for a solid-finish, in hopes of building momentum for 2007.

“I know that a good finish at Homestead will make a huge difference in the team’s attitude and set the stage for 2007,” said Wallace. “I feel like if we can get a top-15 or so at Homestead, we’ll be able to carry that momentum over into next season and hopefully start off on the right foot.”
