Schrader won his first NASCAR Busch Series race at The Monster Mile in 1989 driving a self-owned entry.
Schrader is making his last appearance of 2006 in the Yard-Man Ford.

Schrader claims partial responsibility for the creation of Brewco Motorsports.

Quote:
Ken Schrader on Dover International Speedway:
“I don’t know why but Dover has been a real good track to me. It’s one mile and kind of like a bull ring. You slam down in the corner but you are running so fast it feels like you’re running a quarter-mile. It’s important to stay out of trouble early and be in position to win at the end.”
