QUOTES: This is your second time to race at Dover. What knowledge are you taking into this weekend that you learned the last time you tried to tackle the “Monster Mile?”

“Dover is a completely different track than anything that the Busch Series visits throughout the year. Earlier this year when we visited Dover, it took me all of practice and into the start of the race to grasp the track. It is a unique, high-banked concrete track, unlike any other venue on the schedule. The track is its own monster.”

“I know returning for the second time, I’ll be able to give feedback to the crew on adjusting the car during practice, opposed to during the race. I like the type of track that you have to charge pretty hard into the corners at, the better you get in the corner the faster you go.”

SUAVE AND DOLLAR GENERAL REWARD STUDENTS’ DEDICATION TO EDUCATION WITH SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING: The primary sponsor for rookie contender, Burney Lamar, in the NASCAR Busch Series is Dollar General stores. “Dollar General is a longtime supporter of education,” said David Perdue, Dollar General’s chairman and CEO. “Education can truly change one’s life, and we are inspired by these exceptional students who have set high educational goals and are committed to achieving them. Dollar General is pleased to collaborate with Suave to provide these students with assistance in pursuing their dreams.”

Dollar General driver, Burney Lamar, also understands the importance of an education. Burney’s father, Izzie, gave no choice to his son other than to go to college and earn a degree before he could go racing. Lamar graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a B.S. in Business Administration.
