Quotes:
Scott Wimmer on Darlington Raceway:
“I’m excited to go to Darlington with the Yard-Man Ford Fusion. Darlington is a really tough track mentally. It definitely earns its nickname of the “track too tough to tame.” You have to be really careful with tires. It’s a track where you can get up into the wall easily. It definitely takes a lot of mental toughness to survive at Darlington. I’m excited though.”
Scott Wimmer on the No. 66 team’s progress this season:
“Within our first practice together in California, Newt Moore, the Yard-Man team and myself really clicked. We’ve only had three races together and I can definitely see we’re making progress in chemistry and communication. This is a great group of guys at Brewco Motorsports. The No. 66 team works incredibly hard; it amazes me every weekend. It’s great to be around such a hard working team and having a veteran crew chief like Newt Moore. I’m just excited to be a part of this team. We added a few more races to our schedule and the extra time together is just going to make us a stronger team.”
