His best NBS performance at the famed track occurred last February when he posted a sixth place finish. He has completed 563 of 564 possible laps at Daytona and has never finished outside of the top-20.
Leffler has one pole at Daytona International Speedway to his credit. In 2003, he claimed the pole for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event in Daytona.

LEFFLER ON RACING AT DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY:
“I’m a big fan of restrictor-plate racing so I’m really looking forward to going to Daytona this weekend. There’s just nothing that can compare to racing under the lights at Daytona International Speedway. After leaving there in February with a 6th place finish earlier this season, I feel like our chances of running up front and being a strong contender for the win on Friday night are pretty good. The guys at the shop have been working hard over the last couple of months preparing a brand new car for this weekend that we think could be one of the best drafting cars on the track. If we can find a good group of guys to draft with and avoid the “big one” there is no reason we shouldn’t be up front battling for the win Friday night.”
EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:
