“P.K. is doing a wonderful job. P.K. has been with me for over a year as the car chief with my Cup team. It’s a perfect opportunity for P.K. while we still have Bob there for support. The car wasn’t as good as it needed to be at the Daytona test so they’re putting a new body on it right now. I’m very excited about getting the car right and I can’t wait to get to one of the biggest races of the years to get things started with my new sponsor Ameriquest. It’s going to an awesome year.”

“Obviously working with Carl Edwards is a wonderful opportunity. We have a great new sponsor Ameriquest for this year. Carl’s a fantastic driver so that’s going to be a big relief on this first race. As for me calling this first race, yeah we might be a little nervous for a little bit. Each day as it goes on we’ll get a little more comfortable. So now it’s just a matter of getting through that first race, calling that and everything should be good. The guys here are fantastic and I’ve had nothing but complete support and cooperation. I’m looking to get that first race out of the way so we can proceed with the rest of the season!”
