“California is going to be great, I love racing there. It’s a big, fast, slick race track. It’s a lot of fun. We have great cars and great engines. I think we are fortunate this is the next race considering our position, you know, our finishing position at Daytona. I was just telling P.K. (No. 60 Crew Chief) I hope we can pick up a couple of spots in the points standings. I don’t think we can fall much farther back, so I think it’s going to be fun race in California. I am totally focused.”

“Daytona didn’t exactly turn out the way we expected, but luckily the season is young and we can pick up momentum by having a good race in California. Carl has seven starts at Fontana and has never finished outside the top 10. As a matter of fact, Carl won the Ameriquest 300 there last year. We are very excited about California and confident about our chances there!”
