Biagi DenBeste Racing to Move Forward with Toyota
“We are so excited about our team’s future with Toyota,” said Fred Biagi, co-owner of Biagi DenBeste Racing. “We believe that with Toyota, we can return to victory lane.”
“Toyota Camrys are the most popular car on the road today. We see so many NASCAR fans already driving them to the races. We are very fortunate to be able to race such a popular car,” said Bill DenBeste, co-owner of Biagi DenBeste Racing.
"The combination of Biagi DenBeste Racing and Toyota will provide a fast race car, as well as a great marketing and promotional tool," said Team President, Lenny Batycki.
“The Toyota Camry should be a great race car and with all the support from Toyota’s engineers, we should be able to get a lot of speed out of our Camry,” said Team Competition Director, Mike Harvick.
“I learned a lot about Toyota after I won the (Toyota) All-Star Showdown last year. I got the keys to a Toyota Tundra for winning the race and it has been a great truck to drive. It is no wonder they race so well in the Truck Series. I know they build great cars too and I can’t wait to race a Toyota,” said Vidovich.
Fueled by a shared passion for racing, Fred Biagi and Bill DenBeste joined forces in 2006 to form Biagi DenBeste Racing from the Biagi Bros. Racing team that had been competing in NASCAR’s Busch Series since 2001. The team has seen a variety of successes, including scoring their first win at Daytona International Speedway in July of 2004. Another accomplishment to add to their resume is the signing of 2003 NASCAR Elite Division, Featherlite Southwest Series Champion, Auggie Vidovich to drive the No. 4 car in 2006 and beyond.
Success is something that seems to come natural to this pair as both run successful trucking businesses based in California. Fred Biagi operates Biagi Bros. Inc., a family-owned trucking and warehouse operation headquartered in the heart of the Napa Valley, while Bill DenBeste owns Denbeste Transportation, California’s premier hazardous waste transporter since 1981 that is based in Windsor. “We are proud to field the No. 4 in the NASCAR Busch Series,” said co- owner, Fred Biagi. “Competition drives me and everyone on this team. We can’t wait to get another win!”
