    Robert Pressley Quotes

On Texas: "This is a real good chance for us to close out our part-time schedule with a good finish. We've had two months to get ready for Texas and we've used every minute. We tested there last week and the car was fast. It drove really well. Since we have plenty of horsepower from the Yates-Roush engine shop, we only have to worry about transferring that power to the pavement. The key is keeping the car under you in the corners. You don't want to be on the brakes; you don't want either end of the car sliding."

On the season: "This has been a lot of fun this year. We've had a chance to pick some of our favorite tracks with this limited schedule. It's given us a chance to spend weeks to prepare for a certain track. When you win races, it's the only thing that matters. It's more important to me to run a handful of races and be competitive in each of them than to run every week and struggle."

    Crew Chief Dan Deeringhoff Quote

On Texas: "When you have two months to get ready for one race, it gives you a lot of time to think about new things. You have to think outside the box in this business. You have to be able to go against conventional wisdom. There's an old saying that if you're caught up in this business, you're already behind. You have to be thinking ahead and we're certainly going to do that at Texas. We think the combination we have for that track is both fast and durable."
