Carl Edwards on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“The whole Charter Team is pumped about going back to Texas. We only have three Busch races left and we plan to gain the most points we can. My confidence is very high on the 1.5-mile tracks, especially after sweeping Atlanta this weekend. I just love the fast tracks. They are a blast! The Charter Team only has one goal in mind and that is to win in Texas!”

Crew Chief Brad Parrott on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“The whole Charter Team is very excited about returning to Texas. We had a great race there earlier this year finishing a very strong fourth. The guys had the weekend off and are revamped and revitalized. Texas is a high speed 1.5 mile track, similar to Atlanta. Carl is coming off a huge NEXTEL Cup win in Atlanta this weekend and the team feels like we can achieve the same results.”
