You have to be fast down the straightaways, but you have to drive it like a short track. The car is important because handling is so important, but a lot of that is in the driver's hands. If you bring a speedway car and a short track mentality, you should be fine."

On the season: "There are some pretty good tracks in our limited schedule, but none are more fun than Richmond. You're always chasing the track because it changes throughout the race. You want the car to launch off the fourth turn for the run down the front straightaway, and you want it to have a lot of grip when it comes off Turn 2. Most of the trouble at Richmond happens in the second turn because it's so easy to bounce the car off the outside wall."
