Last Race Information
After starting from the outside pole, Kasey Kahne drove the No. 6 Country Crock® Dodge Charger to a 5th place finish last weekend in the Ameriquest 300 at California Speedway. This was the team’s second top-five and sixth top-10 finish of the season.
Crocker Set for NASCAR Busch Series Debut
Erin Crocker will make her long-anticipated NASCAR Busch Series debut under the lights of Richmond International Raceway in Friday night’s Emerson Radio 250, driving the No. 6 Country Crock® Dodge Charger.
Crocker began making headlines after winning the pole and leading 28 laps in her first ARCA RE/MAX Series race and first career stock car race at Nashville Superspeedway in March. In five ARCA starts this season, Crocker has earned two pole awards and posted three top-five and four top-10 finishes with a total of 86 laps led.
Crocker on Her NASCAR Debut
“This weekend is what I have been waiting for, working for and striving for so many years. It is almost hard to believe that the hard work and years of dedication has finally paid off. I am grateful to Ray Evernham for giving me this opportunity and it is my goal to make him and the entire Evernham Motorsports family proud. The fact that I am able to begin my NASCAR career driving Evernham equipment and have such a successful and experienced team behind me is an amazing opportunity that I intend to make the most out of. I look forward to representing Unilever Foods and a great brand like Country Crock® on the track and to giving them a strong performance on Friday night.”
Crew Chief, Trip Bruce on Crocker’s Debut and This Weekend’s Event in Richmond
“We tested at Richmond with Erin last Monday and the entire Hungry Drivers™ team left feeling really good about it. It was a lot for Erin to take in in just one day but she is a quick learner and a great race car driver. She displayed a lot of car control, which is essential at a short track like Richmond. We are behind Erin and are going to support her in her NASCAR debut in any way we can. Our goals for this weekend are to help Erin stay on a pace she can maintain, to complete every lap, to have good pit stops and to have a good, clean race. If we can do those things we should have a pretty good night.”
Primary Sponsor
The Shedd’s Spread Country Crock® logo will adorn the hood of the No. 6 Dodge Charger in this weekend’s event at Richmond.
Equipment
Crocker will drive chassis No. 12 in this weekend’s Emerson Radio 250. This is the same chassis that
