JON WOOD-47-Clorox/Wisk Ford Taurus (Finished 18th) - "We brought a new car here and we struggled all weekend. We probably should have tested, but this is the first week that we've struggled. To struggle and finish 18th and run as bad as we did, I think we'll be fine. You can't run good every week, and these guys are doing such a good job that I'm not going to complain." HOW WAS THE LIGHTING ON THE TRACK? "I think that every race here should be a night race because this place is probably lit up better than most."

DAVID GREEN-27-Kleenex/Cottonelle Ford Taurus (Finished 14th) - "Tonight was a real track position deal. Greg spun out early and sometimes adversity works into your favor to set your hand on pit strategy. Congratulations to those guys because they've been knocking on the door. We had to adjust on our car there and then you get out of sync on the pit stops and track position is the key. I'm happy for Brewco; we won our first race of the season." HOW WAS THE LIGHTING ON THE TRACK? "The lighting was good. The spotters for years now have been in turn one and I think it's time that they move them. On that restart, everybody gets jumbled up here on restarts and I think it's because the spotters are saying, 'Go,' and they really can't see the race track. The lighting is good."

KENNY WALLACE-22-Stacker 2 Ford Taurus (Finished 16th) - "Even though we ran in the top 10 most of the night we weren't a top-10 car. They were all over me all night long, and we just missed the setup real bad. We struggled from the time we got here, thought we were going to be better because we changed the car so drastic, but I just couldn't get the thing to turn. The was the problem all night long, loose, turn, both." ARE THE TRACK CONDITIONS HERE DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT AT NIGHT FROM THE DAYTIME? "I don't think so. It's slippery at night and slippery during the day; real slippery to start." HOW WAS THE LIGHTING ON THE TRACK? "It was awesome. You couldn't tell the difference day or night, just the track was still slippery." IS THERE LESS FATIGUE HERE DRIVING AT NIGHT? "We had so many cautions we didn't have time to get wore out. It is what it is. I'm disappointed with 16th, but that's what we got."

CARL EDWARDS-60-World Financial Ford Taurus (Finished 8th) - WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN YOU AND TRUEX? "The deal was Martin and I both had the same amount of laps on our tires and were better than everybody in front of us, and I felt like him and I were going to race for the win. He went in behind a slower car and chose the slow lane and I was going to go around the outside of him, and at the same time something happened and he stood on the brakes and got a little loose and we locked bumpers and spun out. I'm glad neither one of us had much damage and still finished eighth and ninth. At least we didn't tear anything up, but that was a mistake on my part. I don't know, we might need him for a drafting partner at Talladega, but I don't think we're going to have that right now." YOU NOW HAVE THE LARGEST POINTS LEAD OF THE SEASON. "That's awesome to be leading. I don't know how many points we're leading by now, but that's a great day to come out of here with another top 10. That's a top-10 in every race that we've run this season and to be leading the points, it's time to start being a little more cautious. I need to start taking it just a little easier. We're playing with fire racing this close, but I'm having a blast." DID YOU THINK YOU COULD LOSE THE POINTS LEAD WHEN YOU SPUN OUT? "I thought we were going to be in real trouble there for two reasons, we had to go to the back, and the way that this race track is there is a lot of touching and sliding and chances for wrecks. Also, Martin was behind me and I figured this was going to be rough racing with him up to the front; I'm sure he wasn't happy, but it was a great finish for us; I'm real happy."

JASON KELLER-35-McDonald's Ford Taurus (Finished 21st) - "We just ran bad all night. We got a little bit of a pit strategy there. We just didn't run good. I wish we had an excuse, but we just didn't run good." ARE THE TRACK CONDITIONS HERE DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT AT NIGHT FROM THE DAYTIME? "No, we ran pretty much bad yesterday, too."

MICHEL JOURDAIN, JR.-10-ppc Racing Ford Taurus (Finished 37th) - WHAT HAPPENED? "We were running very good. My Ford car was running amazing. We passed so many cars at the beginning of the race, and I went into turn three and my drink bottle is connected to my helmet and it came loose and went to the right and moved my head and I just started up the track and spun. I spun and someone was running on the outside and hit me." YOU WERE T-BONED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE AFTER YOUR SPIN. WAS THAT THE HARDEST HIT YOU'VE TAKEN IN A STOCK CAR? "No, I think the one in Bristol was worse. This was very light. The safety equipment does it job. I thought it was going to hurt a lot more than it did."

GREG BIFFLE-66-Henkel Ford Taurus (Finished 1st) - "I just had the Henkel car a little bit too loose at the start of the race and it was my fault, and it's been a long time since I've spun out by myself. I jumped in the throttle down there trying to get a run underneath that car, I don't know who I was trying to get by, but it was just my fault. I got the car turned around, but these guys in the pits really recovered well for me and they put some wedge in the car and worked on it all night and never gave up. Newt and I just came up with a game plan that track position was important here tonight and put ourselves in position. I just can't be more excited for this Brewco team to get this Ford Taurus in Victory Lane. Second last week and to win this week, and I just love Phoenix. I love this area and I love the fans out here and just hopefully have a good run tomorrow night, too." WERE THE CAUTIONS A HELP TO YOU TONIGHT? "They were more frustrating because I seemed to have a better car on the long runs and Elliott Sadler had a great race car on the short run and could really do something with me. My car was a little bit too loose, but I knew that if I just protected the bottom and stayed on the bottom groove that he wouldn't get a run on me. That's all I had and I was running the heck out of the 66 car and I just appreciate Brewco Motorsports giving me the opportunity to drive this thing." WHAT DID YOU LEARN TONIGHT FOR TOMORROW NIGHT? "I learned a lot about the race track. The race track changed unlike I thought it would. I can't let the competitors know what it did, but we'll see. I learned something for tomorrow night and Doug (Richert) was down there watching and I think we'll have a good run."

ELLIOTT SADLER-90-CitiFinancial Ford Taurus (Finished 2nd) - IF YOU HAD FRESHER TIRES, WOULD YOU HAVE HAD SOMETHING FOR BIFFLE? "I don't know, Biffle was pretty good, but I'm so proud of my guys. Everybody on the CitiFinancial Ford Taurus did a great job. We worked our butts off this weekend. We brought a brand new car and to come home and finish second, they just kept adjusting on it and making it better and better; I'm just proud of my guys. I think I have a good car to go to Richmond with. They've been working their butts off this year. We've built a lot of new cars, a lot of untested cars and to bring it here and get fifth last week at Texas and to come here and finish second, I have great, great race team."
