Carl Edwards on Busch racing at Nashville:
“Our mission at Dover was to have a good points race. We looked like we were going to finish first or second, but ran into some bad luck. Luckily we had a big enough points lead so that we are still in the top spot in points and that’s a good thing. We are going into Nashville maintaining the same attitude. We are aiming for a top five car or better and gain all the points we can. We had a good test there which is helpful. This will be my first weekend of double duty in two different places. There will be a little more stress on the Charter Team from that direction. We have Hank Parker Jr. helping us with practice and I think that will help a lot. I just look forward to an exciting weekend of racing.”
Crew Chief Brad Parrott on Busch racing at Nashville:
“The Charter Team is ready to go to Nashville. We are coming off of a great test there last week. Going into Nashville we will be using Hank Parker Jr. for the practice sessions on Friday and then Carl will fly in on Saturday for qualifying and racing the car. We had a great finish the last time there. We wanted to do a little better, so we went there and tested and we are really looking forward to going to Nashville Supersepeedway.”
