No. 41 TEAM FACTS:

  • Busch Series Points Standings: Reed Sorenson’s 10th-place finish at Chicago last weekend kept him third in the NASCAR Busch Series championship points standings. He is only 106 points behind leader Martin Truex Jr., and just 34 points behind second-place Clint Bowyer.

  • Rookie of the Year: Sorenson remains in the top spot in the rookie of the year race, edging out Carl Edwards by just one point (247-246). The rookie points are determined by the top-16 finishes during the season.

  • Chassis: The Discount Tire team will race chassis #453 at New Hampshire this weekend. This is the same car that Sorenson piloted to 12th, 31st and 32nd-place finishes at Milwaukee, Richmond and Phoenix respectively.

  • Did you Know?: Sorenson is the highest of the rookies to rank in the top 10 in Busch Series points.
