Sam's Town 250 - Brandon Miller Notes
EVENT INFORMATION - Event: NASCAR Busch Series Sam's Town 250; Time and
Date: 3:30 p.m. EDT, Saturday, Oct. 22; Site: Memphis Motorsports Park,
Millington, Tenn. Live Coverage: TNT (television) at 3:30 p.m. EDT and

MILLER'S TIME - Miller returns to the driver's seat of the REESE'S
Chevrolet this weekend after a four-week hiatus. Miller will make his
11th start of the 2005 season. Miller last drove the REESE'S Chevrolet
at California Speedway. He started eighth and finished 23rd. Miller's
best finish of the season came in St. Louis. He started fifth and
finished sixth. He also finished 10th the week before at Pikes Peak.
MEDIA DAY - Miller will spend Thursday, Oct. 20, with local media in
Memphis. He will have interviews with local TV and radio stations
throughout the Memphis area. Miller will also participate in a parade on
Beale Street. He will drive a show car provided by Memphis Motorsports
Park.
REESE'S CHEVY PREVIOUSLY AT MEMPHIS - The REESE'S Chevy has finished in
the top-five in its two years of sponsorship. In 2003 Johnny Sauter
started 10th and finished fourth. In 2004 Clint Bowyer started ninth and
finished third. However, REESE'S Racing driver Kevin Harvick drove the
ACDelco Chevy to a win in 2000. Miller and the REESE'S Racing team hope
to build on the success of his RCR teammates and bring home another
strong finish.
TESTING 1, 2, 3 - Brandon Miller tested the REESE'S Chevy Oct. 10-11 at
Memphis Motorsports Park. The test went well, but most importantly,
Miller became acclimated to the track. The team is optimistic entering
the race weekend and hopes to build on the solid fourth-place effort
Clint Bowyer posted there last year in the REESE'S Chevrolet.
OWNERS' POINTS - The REESE'S Racing team is fourth in the Busch Series
Owner Standings with 326 points less than the leader, Martin Truex's
team.
QUOTEBOOK AND NOTES:
Brandon Miller on his teammates - "It is really cool to have such good
teammates like Clint and Kevin. Clint and I always go to each other's
tests and help each other out. It works out pretty well for us since we
have similar feels and similar setups in our cars. I also enjoy having
Kevin around because he has been to almost every track, and he gives me
some really good pointers on how to get around the tracks."
On Memphis - "It's the home of the King! I like the track, and I think
it has characteristics that fit my driving style. The test went well for
us, and I logged a ton of laps. I had a pretty disappointing run last
time I was in the REESE'S Chevy, so I'd like to rebound from that.
Crew chief Ricky Viers on Miller at the Memphis test - "Brandon did a
good job for us during the test. The most important thing is seat time
at the track. There are a lot of tracks that Brandon hasn't seen before,
including Memphis. I'm glad that we got a ton of laps in, and Brandon
was comfortable with the car and the track."
