SBC 250 - Kenny Wallace Notes
June has proven to be a very good month for Kenny Wallace and the Stacker 2 Racing team. Since finishing ninth in Charlotte at the end of May, Wallace has not slowed down. He relocated his family to St. Louis, Mo., for the month of June and the change in scenery appears to be beneficial. During June, Wallace has had a runner-up finish, two top-10s and has not finished out of the top-15. This allowed Wallace to finish every lap for the month and make the championship obtainable. Wallace also had a good month away from NASCAR. He was able to win at Eldora, was featured on three of four episodes of NASCAR Drivers 360, and will be crowned champion of the Mobil High-Endurance Charity Poker Challenge Thursday night on Speed TV. Wallace is hoping the month will end on a high note as he will be looking for a win this Saturday at The Milwaukee Mile.

On Milwaukee…
“Milwaukee is the home of my wife’s family, so we will go to Wisconsin Dells after the race for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The track has a lot of heritage. We haven’t run good up there in a few years. I am a little nervous. We are taking a new car that we haven’t tested. We’ll see what happens. I am confident we will be competitive.
“When we first started racing, Wisconsin was the biggest racing state in the U.S. You could easily race Tuesday through Sunday and only take off on Monday. Every time I go, I think of it as going to the biggest racing state in the U.S. It’s exciting.”
