You make your speed there coming off the second and fourth turns. You have to make sure the car’s pointed in the right direction and make sure it’s under you so you get a good start for the run the straightaways.”

On the season: “It’s hard to believe the road course in Mexico City was our best finish of the year, but it goes to show you what happens when everything comes together at the end of the race. We got knocked off the track at Daytona at the end of the race; we had a flat at the end of the race in California. I’m really excited about the way this team has come together because we’re running on the lead lap everywhere we go and we’re up front.”
