Hungry Drivers™ Team News & Notes

Kasey Kahne will take over driving duties of the No. 6 Ragu® Dodge this weekend at Kansas Speedway.

Outside Pole at Kansas – A trend for Kahne
Kahne has started from the outside pole in the last two NASCAR Busch Series events at Kansas. In addition, Kahne also started from the outside pole in last season’s Nextel Cup race at the Kansas City track.

Kahne at Kansas Speedway
Kahne has started from the outside pole in the NASCAR Busch Series’ last two stops at Kansas Speedway. In last year’s event, Kahne led 14 laps and posted a 13th place finish, a NBS career best for Kahne at the 1.5-mile track.

Kahne on Kansas Speedway
“Kansas is considered one of the 1.5-mile cookie cutter tracks and is most similar to the track in Chicago, with a little less banking. It’s a fast, smooth track and despite the fact that it is one of the newer tracks on the circuit, it has developed a nice wide racing groove that seems to get better every year. I look forward to going back this year with first -rate equipment and great team behind me and seeing what we can do.”

Primary Sponsor
The Ragu® pasta sauce logo will adorn the hood of the No. 6 Dodge Charger in this weekend’s event at Kansas Speedway.

Equipment
Kahne will drive chassis No. 9 in this weekend’s United Way 300. Chassis No. 9 last saw action at California Speedway where Kahne started 2nd and finished 5th.
