Robert Pressley Quotes:
On Indianapolis: “When you make only selected starts during the season, there’s no better place to come back than IRP. All of us love old-fashioned short track racing, and Indianapolis is nothing more than a good old-fashioned short track race. You beat and bang your way to the front, then you race just as hard to keep other people from beating and banging their way past you. It’s a great night for the fans, a great night for the sport.”
On the season: “When you make selected starts, you pick your good tracks and you bring your best cars. We picked IRP because it’s one of my best tracks and it’s an important showcase for Idy’s Ice Cream.”
Crew Chief Dan Deeringhoff Quote:
On Indianapolis: “It’s been a while since we’ve been to a race, so everyone on this team is eager to get back to speed. The nice thing about IRP is you don’t need hours and hours of engineering and wind tunnel time to be fast. You need a good car, but the important thing is to have a driver who knows how to get through traffic on a flat, tight short track. We certainly have that in Robert Pressley.”
