Hornaday’s thoughts on Indianapolis Raceway Park:
“I get excited when we go to IRP because it is a track that I feel very comfortable on and it is one of my favorite tracks. I know that I should run well every time that I am there. Racing on the short track is a lot of fun and I love the aggressive style that it takes to get around other cars on the track. The kind of aggressive driving that will take place this weekend is the kind of racing that reminds me of the earlier days in my career. When I used to run at Saugus Speedway, you had to make your own holes to pass, and that is the style of driving that got me to where I am today.”
Ron Hornaday about driving the #32 WINFUEL Chevy:
“I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the #32 WINFUEL Chevy this weekend, especially since we are racing at IRP. The WINFUEL team has given me fast, competitive cars each of the three times that I’ve driven for them this season, but we seem to have had our share of bad luck. Hopefully this weekend we can put it all together and take the WINFUEL Chevy to Victory Lane.”
