On Darlington: “There are a lot of different strategies for Darlington, like making the car fast for Turns 1 and 2 or concentrating on Turns 3 and 4, but I have a different approach. My strategy is to respect the entire racetrack. You’re looking for a balance there, and after that you must show the track the respect she deserves. We were in the 17-car crash at Talladega – another crash where we were the victim of somebody else’s mistake. We just can’t buy a break. The one thing we can take out of it, though, is we had moved up 22 positions in the first 17 laps and this Kingsford/Bush’s Baked Beans crew never gave up. We gained 17 positions in the final rundown by fixing the car and returning to the race. That’s a gain of 51 points.
