Back to Restrictor Plate Racing – Jeremy Mayfield and his Miller High Life Light team head to the high banks of Daytona International Speedway this weekend for his sixth race of the year with RWI Racing, Inc. The 36-year old Cup Series veteran was involved in a 16-car pile up on lap 17 in Talladega and finished 42nd. Mayfield will return to the seat of his No. 64 MHLL car in Chicago next weekend.
Chassis No. 6407 – Blake Bainbridge and his MHLL team will take the same car that was involved in an accident at Talladega earlier this year. Chassis No. 6407 received a new body and clip and will hit the track for the second time this year during NBS practice at 3:00 p.m. on Friday with Jeremy Mayfield behind the wheel.
Testing 1,2,3 – Bainbridge and crew will head to Gateway for a two-day test on July 19 & 20th in preparation for the Wallace Family Tribute 250. Car owner, Rusty Wallace will drive his No. 64 Miller High Life car with a special paint scheme featuring the famous St. Louis Arch landmark. Wallace will compete in his hometown with both brothers, Kenny and Mike, in honor of the family’s history to the sport of NASCAR and the city of St. Louis.
