Reed Sorenson Quotes:
“I am glad to be done with restrictor-plate racing. We can focus on the kind of racing that we can control. The Discount Tire team is hoping to regroup this weekend in Chicago and get a solid top 10 finish and keep working toward the top spot in the points standings. The car we are taking to Chicago is one of our most successful ones. We have had three top-10 finishes and hope to add one more this weekend at Chicagoland.”
Brian Pattie, Crew Chief Quotes:
Comment on Reed at the halfway mark
“Reed is a quick learner. He picks up on the lines and traits of all the tracks that we have gone to so far really fast. There is more to going fast besides having good equipment, the driver is the last and biggest piece of the puzzle. And thus far, Reed has done a fantastic job at all the aspects of racing in the big leagues. The rookie class this year is probably one of the best classes I've seen since I started in the series in 1993. All of the rookies in this class have quality rides and can win on any given weekend.”
