Carl Edwards on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
“Las Vegas was a lot like Mexico. Everything was going really well and then a little bad luck. The whole crew did a spectacular job. We rebounded from a flat tire and still finished seventh. It was a dynamic recovery, but leading up to that point it was neat to have a dominating car that ran that well. It really felt good and this has really boosted the team’s confidence going into Atlanta. We are all going into Atlanta with a little bounce in our step and hopefully come out of there with the victory we lost Saturday in Vegas.”
Crew Chief Brad Parrott on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
“We are really excited about going to Atlanta. Carl tested his Cup car there along with the No. 17 Busch car. We took that information and combined it with Carl's Cup run and Biffle’s Busch run from last year and are making the No. 60 Charter car strong. Carl’s coming off another good week-very excited about Atlanta. Carl likes to run against the wall, that’s his kind of track. The whole team is very excited about the rest of the year.”
