Kim Crosby Parts Ways with Keith Coleman Racing

Kim Crosby
SLIDELL, Lou. (11-16-2005) - NASCAR Busch Series rookie Kim Crosby has announced that she is no longer a part of Keith Coleman Racing effective immediately.

Crosby who made her debut solidly with the team in this year’s Winn-Dixie 250 presented by PepsiCo stated that she has decided to part ways with Keith Coleman Racing but is thankful for the opportunity and experience she has gained this season.

"It has not been an easy season for this rookie, but I have learned a great deal and believe that everything happens for a reason,” explained Crosby, who was a former high school principal before turning to her racing career full-time.

Kim Crosby stated that her sponsors, Golden Flake Snack Foods and Boudreaux's Buttpaste will go with her as she finalizes her plans for the 2006 racing season. "I am very excited about the possibilities for 2006 and am very much looking forward to finalizing my plans in the coming weeks,” she said.

Kim stated that she has been contacted by several teams within NASCAR and is making certain that the next choice she makes will be a positive move for her after a difficult season in the NASCAR Busch Series.
