Braun Racing Debuts KB Home as Primary Sponsor for the Dollar General 300

While this isn’t their first week with Braun Racing, KB Home will take the spotlight and become the primary sponsor for the last race of the season under the lights at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

KB Home caps off their 17 week venture as an associate sponsor with Braun Racing to take the lead and debut with what has been raved as the sharpest looking car the Braun stables have ran this season. Todd Braun stated,” We are very thankful and appreciate the support that KB Home has provided Braun Racing throughout the season.

KB Home “Owner for a weekend” Sweepstakes debuted with the KB Home show car doing sixteen shows between June 4th and October 7th. At each show, prospective home buyers entered for a chance to be “team owner” for the weekend. The winner receives an all- inclusive weekend at the track, passes for the garage, seats on top of the pit box and a home away from home excursion, staying in an Encore Motorcoach provided my Mid State RV Center.

Matthew and Heather Teague were selected as the grand prize winners on October 7th from over 20,000 entries in four different markets. “We want the new owners to be a part of this weekend in every way possible, because without them and their support of Braun Racing we wouldn’t be able to race,” stated Todd Braun.

Braun Racing comes into Lowe’s feeling good about their race package knowing that without the equipment failure in Kansas they would have continued their quest for a win. “I know the KB Home car is going to roll off the trailer quick and be in contention all night for the victory. I am just happy that we can finally run this car, I have been looking at it for weeks and the paint scheme just looks fast,” stated Jason Leffler, driver of the #32 Braun Racing Chevrolet.

Braun Racing currently sits 14th in the owner points and looks to bring KB Home and Braun Racing their first win of the season under the lights Friday night. The race will broadcast live Friday, October 14th at 7:00 PM eastern time on TNT and PRN radio.
