Emerson Radio 250 - Jason Leffler Notes

Jason Leffler will make his 68th NASCAR Busch Series start in the Emerson Radio 250 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway Friday night.

JASON LEFFLER ON RICHMOND... "We ran into some problems with a flat tire and then we got mixed up in an incident on track last time we were in Richmond and we were still able to finish 11th, so we were proud of that. Our Haas Automation Chevy was pretty good that day and we're looking forward to getting back there. Richmond is a fun track to race on and a fun place for the fans. If we can just get in a good qualifying run and stay out of trouble this time, there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to come away with a good finish. We're dying to get back to victory lane and we've been so close on a couple of occasions. This weekend is as good as any to get back there. There's a lot of racing left in the season and you can't afford to have any bad weeks if you want to stay up there near the top of the point standings. We may not be able to catch the top two very easily, but we have to make sure the guys behind us don't catch us either. They're breathing down our necks and we need to make sure we step up to the plate every weekend. This is a great team and the guys work really hard. The Busch Series is really competitive this year and we're really having a good time being a part of it."
