On Richmond: “I think if you poled the drivers, you’d find Richmond is our favorite place to race. You get to mix the speed of a speedway with what you learned on the short tracks when you first got into this sport. You have to be able to finesse your car through the corners, but you have to be willing to use your front bumper if the situation warrants.”

On the season: “We’re still putting some of the little pieces in place. A successful racing season is a lot like a race: You have good stretches; you have bad ones.
