“I am excited about going out to Phoenix for a couple of reasons. One reason is Phoenix is one of my best racetracks. It really fits my driving style, which will really help my team gain more ground on the top 10.

“The second reason is that we have really picked up some momentum the past four weeks. We have four top-15 finishes and our cars have been awesome. My team has really worked hard and has not given up on me. We still have some work left to do this season, and we are ready to get it done.

“Phoenix is a weird track because of the different turns. You really carry some speed into turn one and two, and then sweep down the backstretch. Turns three and four are tricky, and the bottom is where you want your car to run to be fast.

“I know that my crew chief, Chris Rice, is ready for this race and is bringing the car that we ran well with at Richmond before we had a right-front tire go down.”

Kenny Wallace Happenings …
Wallace will make the 14th stop on the 2004 Race to Bee Safe tour at Agua Fria High School in Avondale, Ariz., Friday, Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m. Wallace will talk to the students about the responsibilities that go along with driving a vehicle. Wallace and a local law enforcement officer try to convey to the high school students that a car is a weapon and needs to be treated with respect. This is the second year of the program, which has been well-received by both the NASCAR community and the local markets Wallace has visited. The program has an added bonus this year: One student will win a $20,000 scholarship by writing an essay about what the program meant to them.

Wallace will also visit the Stacker 2® Splash of Energy Tour Saturday, Nov. 6 at 9:20 a.m. The Splash of Energy Tour will be located in the midway at Phoenix International Raceway. Wallace will talk to fans and distribute Stacker 2® premium items.

Get to Know Jack…
One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2® heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team completes this year, NVE Pharmaceuticals, the parent company of Stacker 2®, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack’s medical costs. So far this season, the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team has raised over $5,808 to help Jack and his family.
