Greg Biffle on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:
“I always look forward to racing at Phoenix for a number of reasons. The track is very technical and it’s almost like an oval road course because of the different corners and dogleg on the backstretch. Phoenix really challenges the driver and those are the tracks that are the most fun. It’s also one of the few West Coast stops we have. I’ve got a lot of family and friends coming in for the race and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone. Both teams are running really strong right now and we’re hoping to keep it up with good performances this weekend. The Charter team has finished in the top five the last four races and the National Guard car running equally as well although we’ve had some bad luck on that side. I expect both cars to be fast this weekend and hopefully we’ll be able to capitalize on that.”
Crew Chief Brad Parrott on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:
“The month of October was just awesome for us and we’re hoping to keep that momentum going into November. The Charter team is definitely on a roll as the season draws to a close and if the Busch Series had a Nextel Cup type format we’d be 45 points ahead of the No. 8 car right now. We’re not though, so we out there to do the best we can each week and we want to bring home three more trophies before this year is over.”
Fast Fact:
Jack Roush has more NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series victories (four) at Phoenix International Raceway than any other car owner.
