Goulds Pumps ITT Industries 200 - Nazareth Speedway

Truex Wins Final Race at Nazareth
Martin Truex Jr. visited victory lane on Sunday afternoon in the Goulds Pumps ITT Industries 200, the final event to be held at the Nazareth Speedway. Truex passed leader Bobby Hamilton Jr. in the final turn of the final lap to capture his fourth victory of the season. Hamilton got caught up with a couple of lapped cars, making contact with Mark Green, which allowed Truex to duck underneath and take the lead for the only time in the race. While Hamilton Jr. led the most laps on the day, staying at the front of the pack for 124 of the event’s 200 laps, Truex led the only lap that counted, the final one. With the win, Truex jumped back atop the Busch series point standings, holding a 31-point lead over Kyle Busch, who finished 10th after starting from the pole. David Green finished third, while Jason Keller and David Stremme rounded out the top-five positions in the finishing order.
