Kenny Wallace on The Milwaukee Mile …
“I am really excited about going to Milwaukee. It reminds me of the short tracks in the Midwest. The track is one mile and flat, which reminds me of the places that I grew up going to with [brother] Rusty and my dad. We have had success in the past at this track, and I am looking forward to going back and getting Bill Davis Racing another good finish.

“I am really hoping that this weekend is a rebounding point for our team. We have had three weeks of bad luck and need a good finish to help our team get back on track. I know that we are capable of running good, and have proven that, but we just need some better luck, which will in turn give us some solid finishes.

“The fans in Milwaukee are one-of-a-kind. They are die-hard. This track is one of my favorites because of the energy that the fans put out. I am looking forward to racing in front of them all Saturday night.”

“I like going to Milwaukee because it is a handling race track. It is a flat race track, so it is hard to get the attitude right. You got to keep the left front of your race car way down in order to be good in Milwaukee. We are taking chassis No. 12, which won last year at Pike Peak International Raceway. It is my favorite car in the fleet, and I am looking for it to competitive on Saturday night.

“I think that if we keep doing what we are doing, the good finishes will come. Our cars are running well and Kenny is doing a great job making our cars go fast. We have a great team, and they can work through the bad luck and get things turned around.”

Get to Know Jack…
One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2 heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team completes this year, NVE, the parent company of Stacker 2, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack’s medical costs. So far this season, Wallace and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team have earned $2,960 for the cause.

“I intend on completing every lap I can for Jack Sable and the Sable family,” Wallace said. “At the end of the year I would like nothing more than to have Jack and his family at our table at the banquet.”
