Kenny Wallace on Lowe’s Motor Speedway…
“I am very optimistic about our chances this weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. We struggled here in the spring early in the race, and my Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team worked hard and made the right changes to help us get a solid top-10 finish. We have learned a lot about our cars since the race in May, so I think that we will be competitive come Friday.

“I am really excited to be in Charlotte for two reasons. One is that it is a five-minute drive from my house, which means that I can sleep in my own bed. The second is that it is a night race. There is this unexplainable feeling that teams get when we run under the lights. There is this energy that is hard to explain.

“I love driving at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. It is not your typical mile-and-a-half racetrack. The speeds are very high, and it is not new like some of the other mile-and-a-half tracks, so there are lots of grooves to pick from. If your car does is not work well on the bottom, you can still be competitive.”

Kenny Wallace Happenings…
Wallace will be very busy this weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. He will drive the No. 23 Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® Chevy in the NASCAR Busch Series race, and he will drive the No. 00 Michael Waltrip Racing Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race on Saturday. This will be the team’s sixth effort this year, but the first start with the team for new crew chief Mike Beam.

Get to Know Jack…
One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2® heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team completes this year, NVE Pharmaceuticals, the parent company of Stacker 2®, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack’s medical costs. So far this season, the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team has raised over $5,000 to help Jack and his family.
