Kenny Wallace on Kentucky Speedway …
“I am excited about going to Kentucky Speedway. I have logged a lot of laps there in the Busch Series, and I have tested there many times in NASCAR Nextel Cup Series cars. It is your typical 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway, the type of track we have run really well at this year. Look for the Stacker 2 Chevrolet to run up front all night. “My crew chief, Chris Rice, has really stepped up our 1.5-mile program this year. He has found some information about the cars that we did not know in the past, and it has helped our performance.

“I really like running on Saturday nights. It is exciting for the fans to watch us run under the lights. Night races are fun for the drivers as well. Most of us got our start running on Saturday nights at the local short tracks around our home towns, so it kind of brings us back to our roots.”

Wallace will appear at the W&H souvenir trailer June 19 from 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. He will sign autographs and answer questions from fans.

Get to Know Jack…One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2 heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team completes this year, NVE, the parent company of Stacker 2, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack’s medical costs. So far this season, Wallace and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team have earned $2,825 for the cause.

“I intend on completing every lap I can for Jack Sable and the Sable family,” Wallace said. “At the end of the year I would like nothing more than to have Jack and his family at our table at the banquet.”
