Supporting Our Troops … Kevin Harvick will be sporting an orange-and-white paint scheme saluting the Coast Guard Reserves. The Coast Guard Reserve has mobilized 8,715 individuals since Sept. 11 of which 1,077 are currently serving on active duty.
Testing 123 … Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 ESGR crew tested at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in preparation for the NASCAR Busch Series season finale.
All Stars … ESGR and RCR have brought together some of NASCAR’s biggest stars for a five-race salute to America’s supportive employers of National Guardsmen and Reservists. In addition to Kevin Harvick, are Bobby Labonte (11th place finish at Texas Motor Speedway), Tony Stewart (2nd place finish at California Speedway on May 1), Kerry Earnhardt (23rd at Dover (Del.) International Speedway on September 25th). The No. 29 ESGR Chevrolet will be pitted by the No. 30 AOL Chevrolet pit crew.
Teammates … The ESGR Chevrolet will be RCR’s third NASCAR Busch Series entry at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Harvick will join Ron Hornaday, driver of the No. 2 AC Delco Chevrolet and Clint Bowyer, driver of the No. 21 Reese’s Chevrolet.
