Charter 250 - Kenny Wallace Notes
Gateway International Raceway
Kenny Wallace on Gateway International Raceway…
”I really enjoy racing at Gateway because it is considered a short track. Last year, I was running in the top five when we lost fourth gear in the final stages of the race but still managed to finish 10th. I know that the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team will give me a car that can run up front all day. The whole Bill Davis Racing operation is gaining momentum, and I think that we will have an opportunity for a top five or better this weekend.”
Kenny Wallace Happenings…
Wallace will also sign autographs Friday, May 7 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Gateway International Raceway.
Wallace will sign autographs at his souvenir trailer Saturday, May 8. Autograph session times are available at the trailer.
Stacker 2 Happenings…
Get to Know Jack…One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2 heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team completes this year, NVE, the parent company of Stacker 2, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack’s medical costs. So far this season, Wallace and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team have earned $1,667.00 for the cause.
“I intend on completing every lap I can for Jack Sable and the Sable family,” Wallace said. “At the end of the year I would like nothing more than to have Jack and his family at our table at the banquet.”
