Compton has five career starts in the NASCAR Busch Series at the one-mile Dover International Speedway, including a 12th-place finish there a year ago.

Compton will be making his 96th consecutive career start in the NASCAR Busch Series circuit – all with ST Motorsports.

On Dover: “There’s no question Dover is one of the toughest tracks on the NASCAR Busch Series circuit. It’s such a fast track and it’s vitally important to create a setup that lets you run the bottom groove. The problem is, everyone else will be trying to get to the bottom groove as well.”

The concrete has a lot of grip, but the track’s so fast you have a constant battle with forward bite through the center of the corners. You must have grip for the front tires coming off the second and fourth turns to set up the sprint down the straightaways.”
