Greg Biffle on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“I got my first NEXTEL Cup win at Daytona and because of that I’ll always look forward to racing there. I also got my first Cup pole there this year for the Daytona 500 so the track is quickly becoming one of my favorites on the circuit. We had really good runs and finished just outside of the top 10 in both cars back in February and we’re using those same cars this weekend. We’ve done some work on both of them that we think will make them even better than they were, and I feel pretty good about our chances to run well in the Coca-Cola C2/National Guard car and the Charter Communications Ford.”
Crew Chief Brad Parrott on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“We ran really good at Daytona in February and had a top-five car for sure before we caved in the nose bump drafting. We’re taking the same car and we reinforced the bumper assembly so we shouldn’t have that problem this time. We tested with the car at Talladega last week and we’ve made it better aero wise, so I expect us to be just as strong as we were in the season opener if not better.
“I’m happy with how the first half of the season went for us, but there is definitely room for improvement. Being a new team, we had our faults but we also had some good times. I’m proud of everyone that has stuck with the team and I really do believe we’re capable of winning many more races and making a strong run for the championship before this year is over.”
