Hershey's Kisses 300 - Paul Wolfe Notes

PAUL WOLFE
Hershey's Kisses 300
Daytona International Speedway
February 14, 2003

HUNGRY DRIVERS RACING NOTES & QUOTES:
The Hungry Drivers(tm) program kicks off with the 2004 season opener Hershey's Kisses 300 at Daytona International Speedway on February 14, 2004. Paul Wolfe will be the first of four drivers to climb behind the wheel of the No 6 Hungry Drivers(tm) throughout the season. Following Daytona, he will compete in events at North Carolina Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Wolfe has spent the last four years competing in the Busch North Series, where in 36 starts he posted 15 top-10's, seven top-five's and two pole awards. Wolfe has just two NASCAR Busch Series starts under his belt including Dover Int'l Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway, both in 2003.

Driver, Paul Wolfe on restrictor plate racing:
"This will be my first time competing in a restrictor plate race and I am looking forward to the new challenge. This is what I have worked hard over the years to get to, to race at the world center of racing - Daytona International Speedway. I have a lot to learn in a short period of time as far as drafting goes but I have always been a pretty quick learner in the seat of a race car. During the last couple of practice sessions we'll try to get around some of the better cars and see how the No. 6 Hungry Drivers(r) Dodge stacks up. If the test session is any indication, we have a good enough car to start up front and stay up front. Being comfortable n the draft and finding some good drafting partners will be crucial."

Driver, Paul Wolfe on Daytona test:
"Our test session in Daytona a couple of weeks ago has given this team a lot of confidence. After struggling a bit the first day, we came back on day two and just made incredible progress. We focused on qualifying trim and ended up posting one of the fastest laps of the day. I was disappointed that we did not get the opportunity to run in race trim and see how the car handles in the draft but that will come during the last couple of practice sessions before the race. Overall, we were very satisfied with how the car performed during the test and the whole team is really pumped up about going back, going racing and make our sponsors, Ragu(r) pasta sauce, Hellmann's(r) mayonnaise and Shedd's Spread Country Crock(r) proud."

Press Conference: Unilever Bestfoods Brands, Ragu(r), Hellmann's(r), and Country Crock(r), will hold a press conference on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 9am in the Media Center to make several important announcements regarding the 2004 Hungry Drivers(tm) program.
