Target House 300 - Kenny Wallace Notes
California Speedway
Kenny Wallace on California Speedway…
“I like going to California especially after racing in Bristol. In Bristol, you are always working, never being able to refocus. It takes a lot out of you. Going to California Speedway where there are long straightaways and flowing corners, it takes less out of a driver.
“I am really excited about going on the ‘Family Feud.’ My team has been talking about it for months, and it will be nice for all of us to get our minds off racing and have a little bit of fun. I think my team has a real shot to win, just like when we’re on the track!”
Kenny Wallace happenings …
Wallace will sign autographs at Speed Zone California on Thursday, Sept. 2 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A few lucky fans will get the opportunity to race Wallace in the drag cars. This will be his third appearance at the Speed Zone theme parks this year.
Get to Know Jack…One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2® heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team completes this year, NVE Pharmaceuticals, the parent company of Stacker 2®, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack’s medical costs. So far this season, the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team has raised $4,417 to help Jack and his family.
