Twister 300 - Raybestos® Rookie Notes

· Kyle Busch was the Raybestos® Rookie of the race in the Winn-Dixie 250 at Daytona International Speedway. Busch finished 11th and took top rookie honors for the 15th time in 18 races. He maintains a commanding lead in the Raybestos® Rookie standings over Paul Menard (267-139) entering the Tropicana Twister 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.

· Busch remains second in the Busch Series championship standings, 68 points behind leader Martin Truex Jr. He has a 259-point edge over third place Greg Biffle.

· Entering the race at Chicagoland, Busch has led the most miles and laps of any Raybestos® Rookie. He has led 22 times for 648 laps (750.62 miles). Bowyer has held the top spot five times for 104 laps (144.32 miles). No other Raybestos® Rookie has led a lap this season.

· A Raybestos® Rookie has led the most laps in five of the 18 races this season. Busch has led the most laps in four races (Nashville-June, Richmond, Texas and Charlotte) while Clint Bowyer led the most laps at Nashville (April).

· Busch owns the record for most poles by a Raybestos® Rookie in the Busch Series. Entering the race at Daytona, Busch has captured four poles: Nazareth, Texas, Darlington, and Richmond. Kenny Wallace, who won three poles in 1989, held the previous mark.

· Busch won the Funai 250 at Richmond International Raceway from the pole, becoming the first Raybestos® Rookie to win from the Bud Pole since the program was established in 1989.

· Busch is the only Raybestos® Rookies to start every Busch Series race this season.

CHICAGOLAND RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE TIDBITS

· Joey Clanton was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in the 2003 Tropicana Twister 300 at Chicagoland Speedway. Clanton scored a 14th place finish in the race.

· The best finish by a Raybestos® Rookie is held by Johnny Sauter. Sauter won the 2002 race, taking the checkered flag by .420 seconds ahead of Todd Bodine. In three races at the 1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway, no other Busch Series Raybestos® Rookie has finished in the top-10. In fact, discounting Sauter's victory, the best finish by a Raybestos® Rookie is 13th by Scott Wimmer in 2001.

· Raybestos® Rookies who have led a lap at Chicagoland Speedway: 2001: Greg Biffle (once for 18 laps) 2002: Johnny Sauter (once for 21 laps) 2002: Scott Riggs (once for four laps)
