Tropicana Twister 300 - Jeff Burton Notes

Jeff Burton
Team: No. 9 Pennzoil Ford Taurus
Owner: Jack Roush
Crew Chief: Tony Liberati
Chassis: JR-15 (ran at California)

Burton on racing at Chicagoland Speedway: “I like Chicago. We've run well there in the Busch car and we're hoping to continue that trend in the No. 9 Pennzoil Ford this coming Saturday. The No. 9 team hasn't raced in a couple months but I know Tony (Liberati, crew chief) won't miss a beat and we should be good to go this weekend.”

Crew Chief Tony Liberati on racing at Chicagoland Speedway: “I won the inaugural race at Chicago and won the pole and ran second my second year there. Jeff (Burton) has run in the top-five both times he's run there so if history repeats itself, we should be pretty good. We're taking the same car we raced in California earlier this year but this time we'll have the Pennzoil colors on it. We're looking forward to getting back to the race track after two months at the shop and we're hoping to get something together and have another good run at Chicago.”
