Tropicana Twister 300 - Greg Biffle Notes

Greg Biffle
Team: No. 60 Charter Communications Ford Taurus
Owner: Jack Roush
Crew Chief: Brad Parrott
Chassis: RK-80 (won at California, finished second at Kentucky and pole in Charlotte)

Greg Biffle on racing at Chicagoland Speedway:
“I’m looking forward to both races this weekend. The cars we’re using have run extremely well and I don’t see why that would be any different this weekend. Chicagoland is very fast and relatively flat, which makes it challenging. It requires a lot of throttle and brake control and those types of tracks are the most fun for a driver.”

Crew Chief Brad Parrott on racing at Chicagoland Speedway:
“Chicago is a fast, flat, smooth racetrack and Greg enjoys racing there. We’re taking one of our best cars (RK-80) that we finished second with at Kentucky. The two tracks are fairly similar in design, so we feel like it will be a good car for us this weekend. We led the most laps with Jeff Burton in the Busch race at Chicago in 2002 and I’m hoping much of what we learned then will translate over this year.

“I’m very pleased with how the second half of the season started for the Charter Team. Our goal is to finish out the year with top-three finishes and so far we’re on track. We just have to keep finishing in front of the two guys ahead of us in points and we’ll see how it all plays out.”
