TALLADEGA SUPERSPEEDWAY
ASHTON LEWIS, JR. NOTES & QUOTES
“The best way to describe what it feels like racing at Talladega is to picture a big thunderstorm. After a flash of lightning you know there is going to be a big boom of thunder, and it depends upon how close you are to the center of the storm as to how big the boom is. When you are racing, you know “the big one” is going to happen, it’s just a matter of waiting, and you just have to hope you are not near the center of the storm.”
“Talladega is all about speed, reflexes, and patience. You have to have all three, along with a little luck, to be racing at the end.”
