Bobby Hamilton, Jr. on Operation Enduring Freedom:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with our fellow Marines and all military personnel as they carry out the work of the nation. Americans can take great comfort in knowing that these all of these men and women are well-trained and well-led and that they will accomplish the mission they were given. These men and women are anxious to complete their assigned missions and return safely home. We are behind them, we support them and we want them to know that we are grateful to each and every one of them."

Bobby Hamilton, Jr. on Texas:
"I always look forward to going to Texas. The track is so smooth and it has so much grip you can run wide open all the way around. Even through the corners you barely have to lift. It just doesn't feel like you're going close to 200mph. It's definitely one of the fastest places we go."

Fred Wanke on Texas:
"Everything comes into play in Texas, more than at any other track. Horsepower, handling, aerodynamics, chassis, everything must come together almost perfectly to win there. You need a good-handling car to get through the corners, because with the right set-up a driver can move through them and barely lift. But when you hit the straightaway, you need all the horsepower you can get. It's at a track like this when I am thankful to have those Yates engines under the hood."

On The TV Panel:
The Academy Sports & Outdoors logo will be featured on the TV panel of the No. 25 Team Marines Ford Taurus this weekend at Texas. Academy Sports & Outdoors was founded in San Antonio, TX in 1938. Today they are one of the nation's largest sporting goods retailers with over 65 stores in seven states. Academy Sports & Outdoors is one of Timberland and Timberland Pro's largest retailers.

Testing & Equipment:
The No. 25 Team Marines will compete with chassis No. 18 this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. This is the same chassis that Hamilton, Jr. drove to a top-five finish in the 2002 Homestead event.

Special Appearances:
On Thursday, March 27, 2003 fr5om 7-8pm, Hamilton, Jr. will be at the Speedfreaks Texas Pre-Race party at Bellbottoms in Fort Worth.
