NOTES:

* Milwaukee tidbits
Ron Hornaday and the No. 2 ACDelco Chevrolet head into a nice stretch of races starting this weekend at The Milwaukee Mile. Hornaday has eight starts at the famous one-mile track - six in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) and two in the NASCAR Busch Series (NBS). In those eight races, Hornaday claimed 1 win (NCTS), 5 top-fives and eight top-10's. The track has also been good to the ACDelco Chevrolet in the past. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won at Milwaukee in 1997 and Kevin Harvick took the pole in 2000.

* Turning 45
Hornaday celebrated another great milestone on Friday, June 20th. The Palmdale, Calif. native turned 45 years old. The family had a party at their home on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC and Hornaday was quoted as saying, "I'm glad this is an off weekend!" A crowd of around 75 friends and family attended the party. Hornaday began his racing career in 1979 at Saugus Speedway in California at the age of 21.

* 99th start
Hornaday will make his 99th NBS start at The Milwaukee Mile on Sunday, June 29. It has been a track that has held great memories for the driver of the No. 2 ACDelco Monte Carlo. In 1997, he won the NCTS race at the track. In 1999, Hornaday qualified the ACDelco Chevy for Earnhardt, Jr. after the young driver was injured in practice. In 2002, Hornaday enjoyed one of his all-time favorite moments by racing against Jim Sauter and his three sons in the NBS race. Hornaday will make his 100th start at Daytona International Speedway on July 4th, 2003.

No. 2 ACDelco Chevrolet driver Ron Hornaday on The Milwaukee Mile

What are your expectations this weekend at The Milwaukee Mile?
"As tough as this NASCAR Busch Series is, I don't think you can really have expectations. I really enjoy racing at Milwaukee. The track is very flat with little banking, but you can still attack the corners here. It's a place where I've won at in the past, so that is the ultimate goal this weekend. As tight as the point battle is, the ACDelco Chevrolet just needs another strong top-five finish."
